Maybe I should give you some background info before I start this story. My sister, Rachelle, lives in the town next to us, Lyman, and she has a daughter named Morgan that turned 16 on June 2nd and she has a boyfriend from the next town, Bicknell, named Ryan Lee. We have seen Ryan a couple of times and TaKara always has a blast with Morgan and him.
So TaKara asked me a question a couple of days ago, "How did Morgan and Ryan meet"? I replied, "At school." TaKara says, "OOOOOOOOOO." Then you could tell her wheels were a churning and she continues, "It must have been at Recess." I tried to contain myself but I just couldn't it was so dang cute and inoccent. I feel bad for her 1st grade teacher and recess time. Hopefully only boy chasing going on and no kissing tag. This is one example of "Kids Say the Darndest Thing." I love my kids to death most of the time if you couldn't tell ;) I had to tell Rachelle, Morgan, and Ryan of course. The girls said she was cute and Ryan wants to kidnap her because she is so adorable. She would love to be kidnapped.

Holy Snow
Okay so we all know it is March 9th. Well when we went to sleep last night we had 3 inches already on the ground. When we woke up it looked like this. 10 inches!!! and still coming. It is a very wet snow and even has made the power flash off a couple of times. This is just what we needed to sustain our way of life this Summer. Thank you Heavenly Father. It is so amazing and beautiful.

Sig
Wow I haven't posted for a long time! I am going to try and update at least the pictures.
Anyways, last night we went with Dale to feed the cows and we didn't stop and get the dogs first like usual so when we were in the haystack the kids like to chase the calves out. Well the dogs usually help them but since they weren't there Slade started to sig me (mom) on the cows. He said, "Sig sig sig Mom! Go get 'em!" It was so cute. I was laughing so hard I couldn't do anything.

Bid/Bed for Grover
Dale and the guys were doing a bid for a guy down in Grover. We had
been reading a book called The Monster at the End of this Book.
It is about Grover from Sesame Street. It is really cute I would
recommend reading it. Well TaKara thought they were planning on making
him a bed rather than bid on work ;) She was so excited until she
learned the truth.

Dogs Fart?
Last night Dale told me this story. TaKara went with Dale, Prall & Clint on Parker Mountain yesterday to do some fencing. Prall let a really big fart rip. TaKara asked, "Who was that dad?" Dale said, "Rufus." TaKara without hesitation, "I didn't know that dogs could fart! That's weird. Can Duke fart too?" Prall replied, "Yeah he is just a little fart and Rufus is a big fart." TaKara again, "That's just weird." I was laughing really hard...I don't know if it really was funny or if I was just tired. I still think it is cute though. "I didn't know dogs could fart."

Margo's Wedding & Bridal Shower Presents
When Tom & Kait got married Margo and I made them a quilt. So I thought I would make Margo and Dal one when I hear they were getting married. They got married just 5 weeks after getting engaged so I didn't have much time and it took forever to decide what design I wanted. I made my own pattern and used the stack-n-whack method to make this quilt. I finally started cutting and sewing on Thursday the 11th of August. Katrina, Clint's girlfriend, helped me two days and Clint, Dale's brother, helped me one day. I sewed it all together and added the border on Monday the 15th of August, tied it on Tuesday the 16th and bound it on Wednesday the 17. So we made this whole thing in a total of 6 days. Thursday Margo got her endowments out and Friday they got married. Yes I cut it short...too short. I never got a picture of it before I gave it away so the following pictures will have to do :)
This is an up close front view of the quilt displayed at Margo & Dal's Open House in Cleveland, UT. Clint & Katrina also made the picture frame that is in front of the quilt.

Farther back view of the front.
I didn't get just a picture of the quilt at the Open House in Loa so here is a few different glances at it. In this picture is Dale's dad and my brother-in-law Phillip.
The one on the right is Dale's mom
This is Tom with his new baby boy Tait. Behind him is the quilt and wallhanging.
For Kait's bridal shower I made her a wallhanging so Idecided to make Margo one also. This took me 5 days to desiwgn and make. I drew/designed the blocks.

Black Jumping Dog
We were up at the Horrock's last week getting a load of a hay and this little dog came running over to us. TaKara proceeded to state that she wanted a little jumping black dog just like that. Well for her Birthday Mike Jeffery gave her a little black jumping dog. He is suppose to be full kelpi but looks more like a shaggy border collie. We named him Duke.
