Messy Face

Christmas Tree

Well we got our Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving at U.M. We put it in the house that night but then we had a family reunion the next day so we didn't decorate it until Monday. Below are before and after pictures. TaKara loved sitting under the tree before any lights were even on it. This is the front.
And this is the back. Sorry the pictures aren't the greatest :)

We have a tradition that we get an ornament that represents something that we did that year. TaKara got a a little pig because she can't/won't take her morning nap until we have gone and done chores. Dale got a truck because we paid his truck off. I haven't got mine yet but I know it will be cute when I do :) So TaKara has not been allowed to touch the tree so none of them will get broken. She has actually been doing really well. She has only broke one...it is a raddle I got last year to remember TaKara's birth. Don't worry though I glued it back together :)

Dale wanted me to ask everyone...is your tree a girl or a boy?

Cover-Alls

Hair Chopped

So Monday I decided I needed a change and I am a spur of the moment type of person so yesterday I went and got my hair cut...okay actually I got it chopped off! If I would have waited any longer I probably would have talked myself out of it. I got rid of 7" of hair AHAHAH!!! Very scary, but I am loving it! Below are before and after pictures...if you can't tell the difference I am deeply sorry :)

Also a couple of months ago I happened onto a way fun blog...it is called Ponytail Challenge. It is about this hilarious lady that posts a new challenge every Monday. It is centered around "taking moments just for me." On Monday when I was searching the web for a new hairstyle it came back to mind because the first challenge back on March 31, 2008 was to have your hair done by noon for an entire week, no ponytails or buns allowed. It has to take a little bit of thought and time. The purpose is just putting a little time aside each day for yourself. This is really important to stay-at-home-moms because your day is so hectic that sometimes you are in your pajamas until 5 minutes before you know your husband will get home so he doesn't think you have been in your pajamas all day LOL Well I have put a link on my site so click on that or go to ponytailchallenge.blogspot.com and check it out. Oh yeah and if you commit to the challenge and come back with your results you will be entered into a drawing.

Well I better go but have a great THANKSGIVING tomorrow! :)
