Prayer
Tonight when we got ready to bless dinner TaKara folded her arms, bowed her head, and sat in her booster seat so reverently. Then once I was done with the prayer she said Amen. It was so cute! She has done it ever since also. I guess we are better parents than we thought ;)

Binkie
Yesterday we lost TaKara's binkie. We looked everywhere for it (under the furniture, in the hamper, in the trash, in the board games, in the shoes, in our pockets, etc.). Luckily we found it in the desk cupboard where we keep the DVDs.
Today TaKara wasn't as lucky. We looked everywhere again and couldn't find it. She puts it in the door handle of the truck while we go to do chores so she doesn't get it dirty. We think that it fell out when the door got slammed. We have never seen it there though so it is still a mystery. It is a mum and last week she would take any kind so we tried a nuk. She did not want anything to do with it this time! She wouldn't go to bed so we watched a movie for about 10 minutes and she was out.
The next couple of night she would look under the couch and recliner then stand up and put her hands up in the air and say Ah Oh, shrug her shoulders, take Dale's hand and lead him into her bed and go to sleep. She hasn't even tried to take any other little kid's binkie like in the past.
We were going to take her binkie away any day so it worked out perfectly...the only thing that I miss about last week is she doesn't take her naps like she used to. She used to take a 3 hour nap in the morning and then another hour and a half nap in the afternoon. Now we are lucky to get an hour nap in after lunch. I guess she decided if I am too big for a binkie then I am too big for naps. She is growing up so fast I can't believe it!!!

SSSHHHHH!!!
TaKara has a new favorite game to play at the farm. It is called SSSHHHHH!!! How you play is you have to be really quiet. So you put your finger up to your mouth and whisper ssshhhhh. This is so adorable when TaKara does it. Then you sneak up to the new baby calves very slowly and calmly. Then once you get close you scream and wave your arms in the air. When they run away you laugh then look for you next victim. TaKara can do this the entire time we are doing chores. It makes chores go by a lot faster and funner. When TaKara isn't at chores her grandpa Taylor and Uncles are very disappointed.

25 Random Facts/Things You May Or May Not Know About Me:

1. I didn’t have a middle name before I was married.
2. I used to think my town had a party for my birthday…AKA Halloween.
3. I hate olives…and nuts.
4. I want to be a soccer mom…that drives an SUV…not a mini van.
5. I want 4 kids…or 2…hopefully not 3…because the middle child would always be left out…I like even numbers.
6. I am addicted to blogging and FaceBook…I am printing my blog entries off as my scrapbook…since I don’t do a traditional one.
7. I hate to decide what to have for dinner…but if someone decides what to have I love to cook.
8. I love to cook/eat desserts…anytime of day…so we always have them at our house…especially cookies.
9. Math was my favorite subject in school.
10. I like to fold clothes…it is kind of relaxing.
11. I rotate my clothes…so I don’t wear the same shirt every week.
12. I am a slow reader…but I like to read…but it has to be something that isn’t practical…fantasy/uses your imagination…because I live in a world that is full of real life.
13. I like to sew…even though I am not the best at it…I am going to make TaKara a denim quilt for a big girl bed.
14. I crochet while I travel to pass the time.
15. I have a couple home based businesses I am trying to get up and running.
16. I don’t remember what I did before TaKara was born…my life must have been boring LOL
17. I sleep on the right side of the bed…or the middle…since I am a bed hog.
18. I like to swim, boat, and roller coasters…but I married someone that despises them.
19. My parents used to own a milk and ice cream business…they sold it January 2007…and most my family is allergic to milk.
20. I like to make people’s day better…either through service…a smile…or a little gift.
21. I have to have the radio playing in the background…I don’t like the silence…it drive’s me crazy.
22. I like to drive with my window down…even when it is dead of winter…there is just something about the wind blowing threw my hair.
23. I hate lipstick and lip gloss…I don’t like the way it feels…it smells…and it usually gets on your teeth.
24. I love my family…I wouldn’t be the person that I am today without them…I wouldn’t want to imagine my life without them in it.

Stink Bug
Today when I went in to get TaKara from her morning nap she wasn't making her normal wimper/cry stating that she is ready to get up. Because she usually likes to play for a minute when she wakes up before she gets out, but not today. So I went in to her crib so see what is the matter. She is standing, shaking her finger, and cussing out a stink bug for being in her bed. It made me laugh so hard that I couldn't get her out for a minute. Then she started cussing me for taking my sweet little time for not rescuing her. I finally gained my composure and took her out then flushed the stink bug down the toilet. I think this made my day because she loves bugs...just not in her bed :)
